Posted: Updated:
AUSTINTOWN TOWNSHIP, Ohio -

Plans have been submitted for another new hotel at the I-80 Route 46 interchange, not far from the  the Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course being built in Austintown.

Meander Hospitality Group has applied for zoning permits to build a Home Two, Hilton Suites Hotel on Interstate Boulevard.  The site is across the street from Quaker Steak & Lube.

"The plans have been submitted. They've been approved by our office. The storm water management drawings have been approved. So we're ready to go with the permit whenever they're ready to pull it." said Austintown Zoning Inspector Darren Crivelli.

It would be a four story brick hotel with 87 guest rooms and a swimming pool. Construction could begin as early as late summer.
