BATAVIA, Ohio (AP) - A southwestern Ohio driver accused of leading wildlife officers on a chase that ended in a crash that killed two passengers has been arrested on vehicular homicide charges.
The State Highway Patrol says 36-year-old Paul Chisenhall, of Goshen, is charged with two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide for the Sunday night crash in Clermont County, east of Cincinnati.
Court records show no attorney for Chisenhall.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources says a wildlife officer had spotted a disorderly group drinking what appeared to be alcohol at Stonelick State Park, and the chase began when wildlife officers tried to stop the vehicle.
Troopers say Chisenhall lost control and ran off the road. Thirty-one-year-old James Wright of Martinsville and 34-year-old Charles McMullen of Williamsburg died. Chisenhall and another passenger were hurt.
