Posted: Updated:
CAMPBELL, Ohio -

Two Campbell teens are in the Mahoning County Jail after leading police on a chase through the city that damaged two Campbell cruisers.

Samuel Horvath and Amber Kansa, both 19-years-old, are being held on drug possession and tampering with evidence charges.

Horvath, the driver, also faces failure to comply and several assault charges.

The Jeep Cherokee the teens were in took off down Wilson Avenue when a Campbell officer attempted to pull them over for speeding around 9:30 p.m. Friday night. The vehicle then darted through a parking lot and down a wooded path.

An officer made contact with the rear of the Jeep causing it to spin out around Blaine Avenue.

Officers recovered a bag of marijuana thrown from the window.
