Shenango Township official placed on leave

SHENANGO TOWNSHIP, Lawrence Co., Pa. -

Shenango Township Secretary-Treasurer Brian Tanner is being investigated by police, and has been placed on administrative leave.

The Lawrence County District Attorney, alleges Tanner wrote checks to himself and the township auditor, Deno DeLorenzo.

Officials say there is evidence of hundreds of thousands of dollars being transferred from the township's accounts to Tanner & DeLorenzo.

    Warren police responded to a call concerning an infant trapped inside of a running car on Tuesday.  Police discovered 26-year-old Holly Jen Michael and her baby inside of a silver Impala in a Pizza Hut parking lot in the Jamestown Village plaza in Warren.  The car was running and was in drive.
