WARREN, Ohio -

After a three years on the run, a 45-year-old fugitive from Pennsylvania was apprehended in Warren, Ohio.

U.S. Marshals say they arrested Shawn Fake on Kenilworth Drive on Wednesday.

The York County, Pa. man was charged with 22 counts of forcible, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors, and rape of persons less than 13 in March 2011.

Authorities in Pennsylvania say Fake was wanted for allegedly raping two children.

Marshals say Fake eluded captivity by using false names and living as a homeless man.  In 2013 Fake was  placed on Pennsylvania's State Police ten most wanted fugitives list.

Investigators say that Fake denied his identity when they confronted him on Wednesday.  However, Fake was ultimately taken into custody.

He'll be sent back to Pennsylvania to face prosecution.
