PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Authorities are trying to find out what killed a man and woman found dead in a northwest Philadelphia home.
Police said a relative found the bodies of the 66-year-old woman and 79-year-old man early Thursday in a home in the Strawberry Mansion section of the city.
Chief Inspector Scott Small said the two were pronounced dead at the scene.
He said there were no obvious signs of trauma on the bodies, and carbon monoxide poisoning had been ruled out.
Homicide investigators were called because the cause of death is unclear. Autopsies are planned to try to determine what killed the couple.
