Agents conduct child porn raid at Hubbard home

HUBBARD, Ohio - A Hubbard man has been arrested and charged with crimes against children after a search warrant is served at his home at 355 Scott Street Southeast.

The Ohio Attorney General's Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Hubbard City Police Department and the Internet Crimes Against Children Working Group seized computers and electronic media from the home just down the street from Hubbard High School.

James Ciotti, a special agent supervisor with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation's Crimes Against Children Unit, said, "We have recovered evidence which will be transported to the BCI in Richfield for analysis."

Twenty-six-year-old Eric Filicky, who lives at the home with his parents, was questioned and sources say he has now confessed to internet crimes. Filicky is charged with 10 felony counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor. Crimes that include beastiality according to sources.

Gabe Wildman, Trumbull County Assistant prosecutor, said, "The preliminary information that we're getting back is that this individual, the subject of the warrant, was downloading and possessing child pornography."

Filicky is jailed on $75,000 bond. If he's able to post bond, he's ordered to be put on house arrest.
