HARRISBURG, Pa. -

A $1.2-million state loan will help create sixteen new jobs in Mercer County.  The Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority granted Penn-Northwest Development Corporation the 15-year loan at 2.25 percent interest, on behalf of Integrated Fabrication and Machine Inc.

The Sharpsville company produces stainless steel, copper, aluminum and titanium specialty fabrications to various segments of the capital goods market.

The money will help  pay for the renovation of  a 68,000-square-foot manufacturing space in Hempfield Township to accommodate growth.

The total site investment will be more than $2,263,000 and in addition to creating 16 new jobs, it will help retain its 35 current employees.

PIDA provides capital for building acquisition, construction and renovation work, primarily for manufacturers, industrial developers, research and development firms, agricultural processors and employers looking to establish national or regional headquarters in Pennsylvania.
