Youngstown man charged with murdering Campbell man

A Youngstown man has been charged with the murder and robbery of a Campbell man. 

The  Mahoning County Grand Jury indicted 36-year-old Wesley Blackshear of Tod Lane for the shooting death of Brendon Moorer.

The body of the 34-year-old Campbell resident was found in a car outside the Big Apple Supermarket on McGuffey Road on May 24.

The indictment alleges that Blackshear robbed another victim that same night.

The four count indictment charges Blackshear with aggravated murder, aggravated robbery and weapons violations.

If convicted, Blackshear could be sentenced to life in prison.
