3 answer to identity theft charges in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

Three people were arrested and appeared in Mahoning County court on Thursday in connection with identity theft in multiple states.

Mark Lett answered to many charges that included trafficking in counterfeit controlled substances, forgery, identity theft, tampering with records, receiving stolen property, telecommunications fraud, passing bad checks, money laundering, engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, and theft. Lett plead not guilty to the charges.

Caprice Daye, also appeared in court, charged with trafficking in counterfeit controlled substances, forgery, identity fraud, tampering with records, receiving stolen property, telecommunications fraud, and money laundering. Daye plead not guilty and bond was set at $200,000.

Both Lett and Daye will be back in Mahoning County court on August 18.

A third suspect, Bella Grosik, faces an obstruction of justice charge in relation to the crime. Grosik plead not guilty and bond was set at $15,000.
