Big week for YSU includes free street parking

Posted: Updated:
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

This is a big week on campus for Youngstown State University.

The fall semester begins with the formal installation of Jim Tressel as university president on Monday afternoon. Since the ceremony is open to the public, those attending may find parking a little more convenient thanks to Home Savings.

Beginning at 7:00 a.m. Monday, bank representatives will be covering all of the parking meters surrounding the campus. The meters will remain covered through Friday, August 22.

There are several campus events leading up to the first day of classes on Wednesday.
