Sharon Regional releases statement following cyber attack

SHARON, Pa. -

Sharon Regional Health Systems issued a statement following a criminal cyber-attack we first told you about on Monday.

Sharon Regional wants its patients to know identity theft services are available following a security breach suffered by its parent company Community Health Systems.

The foreign based intruder, believed to be from China, accessed information that includes names, addresses, birthdates, telephone numbers and Social Security numbers.
