Kent State mourns loss of student athlete

KENT, Ohio - Kent State University is mourning the loss of one of their football players.

Starting center Jason Bitsko was found dead in the bedroom of his off campus apartment around 9 a.m. on  Wednesday morning.

The 21 year old football player was in his fourth year with the Golden Flashes.

Police believe he may have passed away from an undetermined medical issue.

The university is offering counseling services and support to all student-athletes and staff members within university athletics as they deal with this loss.
