WARREN, Ohio -

A North Bloomfield man has been sentenced for the stabbing death of a 41-year-old Township man at the Bristol Inn.

During a hearing on Wednesday, Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge Wyatt McKay sentenced 46-year-old William Helmuth to eight years in prison for the death of Craig Neighbor, who was killed during a fight at the bar on January 17.

Helmuth was originally indicted on a murder charge, but he pleaded guilty to the less serious charge of voluntary manslaughter.
