Country fans get hitched at the Canfield Fair

CANFIELD, Ohio -

Two Reba McEntire fans exchanged vows at the Canfield Fairgrounds gazebo Sunday afternoon.

Struthers residents Donna and Shawn Mansfield love country music, and both love Reba McEntire.

It was part of the reason behind their unique decision to get hitched at the fair.

“It started out as a joke. He said Reba is at the concert and she can perform the ceremony and it just stemmed from there,” said bride Donna Mansfield.

“We actually met in high school back in 1999 and started to date,” said Shawn Mansfield. “We were high school sweethearts then and we were childhood friends.”

Family and friends were also at the fairgrounds to watch the couple exchange their vows. Members of the wedding party wore matching t-shirts.
