Boardman business is target of repeated thefts

Posted: Updated:

The owner of a Boardman business hopes surveillance pictures can help solve a series of thefts at his company.

Tim Rowe tells township police that someone has stolen thousands of dollars worth of items from his Bev Road company, Spectrum Metal Finishing Inc.

Rowe tells 21 News that someone broke into the business four times since April, and stole valuable metal goods.

According to a police report, the latest theft occurred the night of Monday, August 25, where a chain link fence and aluminum building components were taken. Rowe places a value on the missing items of $5,300.  Police say they did not process evidence at the scene because the suspect wore gloves.

Rowe has provided police with video surveillance of a man who was on the property at the time of the theft.

Anyone who can help solve the thefts are asked to contact Boardman Police at 330-726-4144.
