Rain dilutes Sunday Canfield Fair attendance

Posted: Updated:

Canfield Fair attendance remained strong Friday but dipped over the weekend.

Friday's numbers were up by nearly 2,400 over attendance from the Friday of the previous year.

However on Saturday, the number of paid admissions dropped by 2,300 from a year ago.

The rain cut into the number of fair goers on Sunday. Even with Reba McIntyre as the grandstand attraction, rainy weather is likely responsible for a 30% decrease in the gate from Sunday of 2014.
