COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - An Ohio National Guardsman accused of sexually abusing three adopted daughters and his stepdaughter at their home is scheduled for arraignment this week on an updated 35-count indictment that includes intimidation charges.

Prosecutors allege in court documents that the Marysville man and his wife abruptly sent a fourth adopted daughter out of state in July 2012 and threatened remaining children in the family with a similar fate to keep them from talking.

The man is charged with rape, sexual battery, gross sexual imposition, intimidation and tampering with evidence. His wife is charged with intimidation, obstructing justice and evidence tampering.

The Associated Press isn't naming them to protect the children's identities.

The pair pleaded not guilty to their initial charges. Their attorneys aren't commenting on their pending cases.
