TRAFFIC ALERT: Construction to cause Boardman traffic delays - WFMJ.com News weather sports for Youngstown-Warren Ohio

Route 224 will continue undergoing construction, however drivers will notice a difference. 

Beginning Monday, Route 224 will be reduced to one lane in either direction between Interstate 680 and Tiffany Boulevard. The lanes will be closed for resurfacing and paving work. 

This work is part of a $5.4 million project to widen the Route 224 bridge over I-680.

The lane closures are expected to create travel delays. 

The entire project is scheduled to be completed by late October 2014.
