Cruiser dashcam video released by police show what happened after police arrested a woman for allegedly swinging a baby carrier at restaurant patrons, while her infant daughter was still in the carrier.

Twenty-five-year-old Carleigh Dawson of Columbus was cited for disorderly conduct on Saturday after staff members and customers of the Red Lobster restaurant called 9-1-1 claiming that the woman was attempting to leave the business in an apparently intoxicated condition with her nine-month-old baby.

When employees and patrons attempted to keep Dawson from leaving the restaurant, they say she swung the baby carrier at them. They tell police that the carrier fell to the ground

After police took Dawson into custody and placed her in the back of the cruiser, she can be seen on dashcam video kicking the door of the vehicle as well as the transparent security divider separating the back seat compartment from the front of the cruiser.

When the arresting officer ordered Dawson to stop, she could be heard on the dashcam video saying, “Where is my daughter? Hey! I don't give a (expletive)! Shut the (expletive) up!”

Dawson's daughter was taken to St. Joseph hospital for an evaluation where it was determined that the baby was not injured.

Trumbull County Children Services was also contacted about the incident.

Dawson told authorities that she and her husband were in town to attend the pinball show at the Eastwood Expo Center...

According to police reports Dawson consumed two Long Island iced teas.

Niles police tell 21 News that they believe the restaurant employees and customers made the right decision in attempting to help the little girl.
