Chevy Cruze sales continue decline

DETROIT -

Sales for General Motors and the Lordstown made Chevy Cruze were down last month.

Figures released on Wednesday show that the automaker sold three percent fewer cars and trucks in June compared to the same month one year ago.

Cruze sales dropped nearly 13% during the same period.

Sales of the small car have not shown an increase since January.

Jan.                +11.1%

Feb.                -16.2%

March             - 11%

April                - 3.7%

May                 -26.7%

June                -12.9%

Year-to-date, Cruze sales are down 12% from the first six months of 2014.

The sales figures come less than a week after GM unveiled the 2016 model of the Cruze.

It happened recently at Wagler's Camp Perry service station in Clarks Mills.   Skimming happens when thieves unlock gas pumps and connect a skimmer to the card reader which steals information when a customer swipes a credit or debit card.
