WARREN, Ohio -

Warren police are investigating a suspect for soliciting a juvenile.

The mother of a 12-year-old boy told police yesterday a woman approached her son when he was riding his bike near their home and asked him to pay her $20 in exchange for a sexual act.

She says that when her son refused, the woman asked if he wanted to buy suboxone, a drug used to treat opiate addiction, off of her instead.

According to a police report, the mother of the boy followed the woman to her house after her son yelled for her help.

The mother did not know the name of the woman, but police were familiar with the suspect from previous incidents.

The suspect has not been charged at this time.
