WARREN, Ohio -

Summit Academy in Warren was evacuated Tuesday after a bomb threat was found written on a bathroom stall.

Members of the Warren Police Department, along with members of the fire department, were dispatched at around 2:30 p.m. to the school after an employee found the words, "I will blow up the school" written in a boy's rest room.

According to a police report, a student told assistant principal, Carl Diggs, about the threat as school was letting out for the day.

Summit Academy principal Erin Bradley says students were already leaving the school, remaining faculty and staff were evacuated from the building.

Officials searched for any explosive devices or suspicious items, but found nothing in the school.

Staff was allowed to re-enter the building after the search.

Detectives took pictures of the writing on the bathroom stall to compare with writing samples from the student that reported the threat.
