Warren court documents reveal criminal history between biker clubs

Posted: Updated:
WARREN, Ohio -

The City of Warren is temporarily shutting down a biker clubhouse, which police have deemed a nuisance after a shooting between two biker clubs that left two men dead and three injured.

Christa Lamendola reports police boarded up 338 Chestnut Street, following up on a preliminary injunction to shut down the Forever Two Wheels biker clubhouse, in an attempt to squash any retaliation attempts following the shooting between FTW and rival biker club Brother's Regime at Shorty's Place on Howland Avenue.

"We're being proactive, we're not going to wait for any more activity to happen," said Warren law director Greg Hicks.

Police took us inside the three story building.
Inside walls were dripping with messages of guns, boxes of amo even this flag saying kill them all.

Law director Gary hicks says police found guns in the house earlier this week, and had enough evidence of criminal gang activity to shut it down, through the city's nuisance ordinance.
Police also showed WFMJ-TV a board room where they believe the group they describe as an outlaw biker gang, and vests branded with FTW  "colors" and a patch with a white fist, an extended middle finger and a pointed firearm.

"This would have been the room where they gathered to conspire their activities, it's a locked private room you can see the gates to get up in here were secured," said Hicks.
The president of FTW has been charged in connection with the shooting.

Police say 45-year-old David Bailes, Jr. of Leavittsburg has been charged with two counts of murder.

But an affidavit also reveals a deeper history of violence between the two groups.
In 2014 FTW member Charle Moorhead was convicted shooting three members of the Brother's Regime in 2012 at the Powerhouse Bar in Warren. Members Danny Parker II and Charles Dellapenna have also been charged in assaulting a woman on April 8, 2016. THe victim identified Parker as committing the assault after being ordered to do so by FTW member Dellapenna

The court document also says it's believed one of the primary activities of the FTW is the commission of violent offenses including assault, felonious assault and murder.

Police in Warren Twp say they've met with the leadership of Brother's Regime in hopes of keeping the peace.

They also plan to monitor the memorial services for the shooting victims scheduled for Saturday.

A hearing to permanently shut down the clubhouse is scheduled for July 1 at 11 a.m. in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.

Shorty's Bar has been in business for 60 years. Neighbors say that there haven't been problems at the bar in the 27 years that they've lived there.
