U.S. Marshals catch up with wanted fugitive in front of court house

Posted: Updated:
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

A random stroke of good luck and good police work today.

A man wanted by authorities was spotted inside his car outside the Mahoning County Courthouse.

Our camera was rolling as Wickie Tutt was spotted and taken into custody by Youngstown's U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force.

It happened just shortly after 12:30 pm.

Tutt who has a criminal history dating back to 1993 and has spent time in prison for forgery and theft was picked up on an arrest warrant out of Austintown.

It seems Tutt is wanted for forgery, counterfeiting and writing bad checks, and faces even more charges in Boardman.

U.S. Marshals transported Tutt to the Mahoning County Jail.
