When students return to Youngstown State University next week, more student housing options will be available to them.

Construction of new apartment complex on Rayen Avenue is expected to be finished when classes begin August 24.

"We really want to increase the number of students living on campus," said Ron Cole, YSU Communications Director.  "We believe that we will enhance the campus environment, the campus experience which all leads to students being more successful in the classroom and graduating on time."

Another new apartment complex at the corner of Wick and Lincoln is in the planning stages.

A reminder that Lincoln Avenue which runs through campus will be closed from Wick Avenue to Fifth Avenue for a road improvement project.
