SALEM TOWNSHIP, Ohio -

A Leetonia woman has died following a head-on crash that shut down State Route 164 for nearly four hours on Monday.

State Troopers say a car driven by 27-year-old Dianna Rice of Leetonia went left of center near Beeson Mill Road shortly before noon, and struck an oncoming box truck.

Rice was flown by medical helicopter to St. Elizabeth Hospital.  She passed away on Tuesday according to the Mahoning County Coroner.

The driver of the truck, Miguel Cortes of Akron was not seriously injured.

The EPA was notified because 100 gallons of diesel fuel leaked from the truck.
