Posted: Updated:
WARREN, Ohio -

Warren police tell 21 News they continue to follow up on leads after a young mother was killed over the weekend.

Police said Becky Pyne was dropped off by her boyfriend at Trumbull Memorial Hospital just before midnight Saturday. Her boyfriend, who is also the father of Pyne's two-month old child, left, but returned to the hospital later to check on her.

Pyne told police at the hospital she was shot at a house in the 200 block of South Leavitt Road. She later died at the hospital.

Police searched that house and found several shell casings and blood.

Investigators said they are checking on information provided to them by Pyne's boyfriend.
