Thief grabs cash then dashes from Warren restaurant

Posted: Updated:
WARREN, Ohio -

Warren police are trying to identify a suspect wanted for Friday's theft at a fast food restaurant.

A person working the counter at the West Market Street Arby's says a man who was inside the restaurant at around 3:30 p.m. grabbed a handful of cash when the register drawer was open.

He then ran out the door and down the street.

Police searched the area but couldn't find the suspect.

Investigators believe the thief got away with more than $100.

The restaurant manager says the suspect did not appear to be one of their regular customers.

No one was injured.
