LACKAWANNOCK TWP., Pa. -

A semi truck fire left an oil spill on a portion of Interstate 80 in Mercer County early Monday.

The oil caught fire in the truck's engine compartment in Lackawannock Township.

The driver was able to put out the flames with an extinguisher, but oil leaked from the truck closing one of the eastbound lanes.

PennDOT brought out sand to soak up the oil.

No one was hurt in the fire.

Both lanes of the highway are open again.
