Minister accused of taking photos, videos up woman's skirt

Posted: Updated:

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a minister who lives in Pennsylvania tried to take photographs and videotape up the skirt of a woman who worked at his New Jersey church.

Authorities say the Rev. Terry Herzberg of Tannersville, Pennsylvania, surrendered to authorities in Warren County on Thursday. The 66-year-old is awaiting an initial court appearance on an invasion of privacy charge.

Hackettstown police say a woman in June told them she observed the 66-year-old taking photos of her intimate body parts while she worked at Gethsemane Lutheran Church. Police examined electronics from the church and Herzberg's home.

Police say the minister tried to photograph up the woman's skirt while she was sitting at her desk over a nearly 3-year period and videotaped up her skirt between July 2015 and June 2016.
