HUBBARD TWP., Ohio -

A couple police describe as boyfriend and girlfriend are in the Trumbull County jail after a 12-year-old girl was allegedly pushed and choked at Hubbard Township's Harding Park Wednesday night.

Lynn Frisbee, 35, is charged with child endangering and Carol Ann Ostavitz, 36, is charged with permitting child abuse.

Township police say they were called when the two were arguing at the park and Frisbee allegedly pushed Ostavitz's 12-year-old daughter and choked her.

The child did not require medical treatment according to police.

Frisbee appeared to be intoxicated and was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police who say he could face more charges.

Police also say that Frisbee was wanted on a warrant issued in Mahoning County.

Both are expected to be arraigned via video in Girard Municipal Court.
