NORTH JACKSON, Ohio -

A car crashed into the front doors of a North Jackson nursing home Monday morning.

The damage to Antonine Sisters Nursing Home occurred around 7:45 a.m.

The impact damaged the entrance to the therapy section of the Antonine Village building.

According to North Jackson Police Chief Greg Taillon, the incident occurred when 74-year-old Robert Sine of Youngstown was driving his wife to physical therapy at the nursing home and accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake near the front entrance.

There were no injuries to any of the nursing home's employees or residents.
