A Howland man was sentenced after pleading guilty to engaging in sexual acts with a minor. 

32-year-old Joshua Rodgers was sentenced to two counts of gross sexual imposition after he plead guilty to engaging in sexual acts with an 11-year-old.

Rogers plead guilty to the charges on March 7.

Rodgers was indicted in May 2016 after an investigation by Howland police.

According to the indictment, the sexual acts occured two times during the summer of 2013. 

Rogers will serve 4 years in prison and must register as a two-tier sex offender.
