YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

The City of Youngstown issued a notice to anyone driving or walking through downtown during President Trump's visit Tuesday, asking for patience and caution.

Events and Special Projects Coordinator, Michael McGiffin said the city is expecting a large amount of people during the visit.

McGiffin warns of road closures and detours throughout the city.

Anyone planning on traveling through the downtown area is asked to use caution and allow for extra time.

Chief Robin Lees of the Youngstown Police department told The Vindicator the entire east side of downtown will be closed when President Trump is in town.

Lees advised anyone who doesn't need to be downtown should avoid it altogether Tuesday.
