Pink Heals Tour comes to Columbiana County

Posted: Updated:
ST. CLAIR TWP., Ohio -

It's not every day you see a pink fire truck in the area, but today those in Saint Clair Township were greeted by the rarity.

The fire truck and other emergency vehicles are part of a national tour to raise awareness for breast cancer and other diseases.

A member of the Glenmoore Volunteer Fire Department invited the tour to come to the area for her friend who is battling cancer.

Those involved with the program commit up to 21 days to drive the pink vehicles around the country and even come in full pink turnout gear.
