Pittsburgh police cite at least 4 teens for regatta fights

Posted: Updated:

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Pittsburgh police have cited at least four teenagers after reports that 100 to 150 youths fought in groups at various places downtown during the final day of the Three Rivers Regatta on Sunday.

The three-day event was credited with bringing about 600,000 people downtown.

Other civic events in recent years, including last year's Fourth of July fireworks celebration, have been marred by disturbances and youth violence.
