Warren man's van runs into a house after his seat broke

WARREN, Ohio -

A Warren man lost control of his vehicle and ran into a home on Genesee Avenue early Wednesday morning. 

The 42-year-old driver of a Chevy van told police his driver's seat broke and that's when he lost control of the vehicle. 

Police say that the suspect was cited for unsafe vehicle and operation without reasonable control. 

Police are still investigating the incident.

    When Poland middle school students return to class next week, a big change will take place. Student's in grades 5 through 8 will now be under one roof.  The 5th and 6th grade McKinley Elementry School and the 7th and 8th grade Poland Middle school are being combined for the 2017 school year. The middle school principal said population has declined in recent years so, there are fewer students in those grades.
