WARREN, Ohio -

A Warren woman who needed several doses of Narcan to be revived in a drug store bathroom now faces criminal charges.

Police called to the CVS on East Market Street Wednesday say an EMT had to remove the hinges to the bathroom door where they found 38-year-old Shandrieka Shaver on the floor next to a toilet.

After EMT's administered multiple doses of the opiate overdose reversal drug Narcan, Shaver regained consciousness.

Police say they found a hypodermic syringe and two pieces of paper containing a white substance on the baby changing station. They also found a crack pipe.

Although Shaver apologized for overdosing, police charged her with possessing drug abuse instruments and paraphernalia.

The evidence was sent to a lab to identify the white substance.

Shaver was taken to Trumbull Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
