A vigil was held for the Sharon two-year-old who died earlier this week after going missing for hours.

Dozens gathered to honor the life of Anakin Gammon Thursday night.

Candles were lit by family members, friends and community members at Perkins Hill or the former Sacred Heart Hill near State Line Road in Sharon.

A spaghetti dinner will be held on Saturday, September 16th from 2 pm - 7 pm at Schells Club Topsy, 8246 Lorain St, Masury, OH.

A GoFundMe account has been set up to help the Gammon family.

Gammon was found Sunday evening in a Masury swimming pool.

Police said Gammon found his way through an opening in the garage of a home by the corner of Syme and Alfred streets near State Line Road.

He had left his Sharon home about five hours earlier.

His home was about nine blocks away from where he was found.

During the time he was missing, a massive search was conducted. Hundreds of community members helped police, fire fighters, and canine dogs look for Gammon.

Sharon police were at Gammon's home on Lafayette Avenue later Monday carrying out a search warrant.

The details in this search warrant are expected to be released later this week.

No one has been charged in the case.
