Liverpool Twp Police: Routine traffic stop leads to drugs and cash

EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio -

Liverpool Township Police conducted a routine traffic stop that lead officers to drugs and over $2,000 in cash Saturday evening.

According to Police, a Cleveland man and an East Liverpool woman were arrested a the scene around 6 p.m.

Police say they seized marijuana, crack cocaine and $2,200 in cash from the vehicle. 

Officials say charges are pending for both individuals. 

The investigation is ongoing.
