Clouds win today with drizzle and light scattered showers before steadier rain overnight. After a high of 51 degrees today, temperatures will fall to near 40 early tomorrow morning. Rain is likely Saturday morning before falling temperatures tomorrow will changeover the precipitation to snow showers and a coating or so can't be ruled out by Saturday night. Sunday will start quiet with just a few flurries in the forecast before steadier snow falls and sticks late Christmas Eve. As the snow continues through early Christmas morning-a couple inches can't be ruled out around town.
A few more snow showers are possible after Christmas but the big story next week is the FRIGID air with days near 20 and nights in the single digits.
