YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

The manager of two restaurants near the YSU campus says he was robbed as he was on his way to deposit the day's receipts from the businesses.

The manager of the Subway and Hot Head Burritos told police he was looking for a parking space downtown Tuesday afternoon so he could make a $2,550 deposit at the Huntington Bank.

According to the police report, the manager was stopped at a red light at Hazel and Federal Streets when a man walked up to his car and asked for a light.

When the driver reached for his lighter, he said that the man pulled out a gun and demanded the money bag that was on the car's console.

The manager says he obeyed and the robber walked away.

The victim gave police a description of the suspect but said that his face was partially obscured by a ski mask.

Police are still investigating.
