Police: 2 women, 1 pregnant, shot and wounded in Pittsburgh

Posted: Updated:

PITTSBURGH (AP) - A shooting in Pittsburgh has left two women wounded, including a pregnant woman who is hospitalized in critical condition.

But details about the shooting, including when and where it occurred, remain unclear.

Authorities say the women arrived at the hospital around 6:45 p.m. Sunday. Shortly before that, the city's gunshot detection system had recorded shots fired in a neighborhood in the city's Homewood section.

Both women remained hospitalized Monday, but their names and further details on their injuries have not been released. The second woman was listed in stable condition.

A motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
