LORDSTOWN, Ohio -

Governor John Kasich has signed a bill that will move voting earlier and speed up a decision on the TJX distribution center.

Kasich signed the bill, which passed last Thursday, that included an amendment allowing a referendum vote on the TJX project to take place months earlier than originally set.

Lordstown has a public hearing coming up this Saturday where the council will hold its first reading on proposed zoning changes.

In a letter of recommendation, Lordstown's planning commission showed support of proposed zoning changes needed to pave the way for the TJX distribution center.

The meeting will be Saturday, June 16 at 11 a.m.
