New attractions draw crowds to Trumbull County Fair on opening day

Posted: Updated:
BAZETTA TWP., Ohio -

The 172nd Trumbull County Fair kicked off Tuesday morning in Bazetta with a jam-packed schedule of events.

Fair-goers came throughout the day for a number of different events, and some, to take advantage of the free admission.

Trumbull County Fair Board Director Jan Solomon says some of the new additions to the fair include the new pavilion, which should provide more shade and a cooler area for fair-goers to eat their favorite fair food.

Also new to the fair is the addition of multiple animal obstacle courses, including a bunny and an alpaca run which will help to continue to bolster support and exposure of the 4-H community.

Another addition, which may quench the thirst of fair-goers is the addition of beer sales inside the grandstand from Tuesday through Sunday starting at 3 p.m.
