Marshals: One suspect in Youngstown murder arrested, second still wanted

Posted: Updated:
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

Marshals say one of the suspects wanted in connection to a deadly shooting in Youngstown is behind bars. The search for a second suspect, however, continues.

Marshals say 23-year-old Brian Donlow, Jr. is behind bars, wanted for questioning in connection to a murder in Youngstown.

Police announced Wednesday that they were searching for are looking for Donlow and 22-year-old Lorice Moore for questioning.

Video from the night of June 19th shows a shooter almost nonchalantly firing multiple times; shots that killed 30 year old Brandon Wylie at the Plaza View Apartment Complex in Youngstown.

"When the victim was shot, the suspects acted in a very casual manner and just seemed to casually walk away until they ran out of the Plaza View complex," said Youngstown police Lieutenant Doug Bobovnyik.

It's the first recorded homicide at the Plaza View complex since it opened back in the early 70's. Around 600 people live here, a close-knit community.

The two suspects do not live in this complex, but the manager says both have caused trouble here in the past and are on the Plaza View trespassing list.

There are surveillance cameras all over this apartment complex. Wylie was shot on the road, literally just feet away from where one of those cameras sits atop a pole.

"The video was very helpful. However video itself is not always enough," said Bobovnyik.

Both Donlow and Moore are already wanted on other warrants in Trumbull County and police say they should be considered armed and dangerous.

Crimestoppers is offering a reward for information leading to their arrest. The U.S. Marshals already received tips and could potentially offer a reward as well.

If you have any information, you're asked to call 746-CLUE (Crimestoppers), 866-4-WANTED (U.S. Marshals), or your local police. You can also text "Wanted" to TIP411 (847411)
