Girard PD: 13-year-old arrested after allegedly making flamethrower

GIRARD, Ohio -

A 13-year-old has been arrested on domestic violence charges after allegedly making a flamethrower. 

Girard Police were called to the East Second Street home on Tuesday night. 

According to the police report, the female victim was standing in the front yard when police arrived. She told police the teen smothered her with a pillow, sprayed Windex on her, and then fashioned a flamethrower out of a can and Axe body spray. 

The victim advised police there were two juvenile children in the house, locked in a room away from the teen. 

Girard Police say they went to the teen's room where he was laying on his bed. He was ordered out of the bed at Taser point.

Police arrested the teen without further problems.

The teen has been charged with domestic violence.

Officers say this is the fourth time the teen has been arrested on domestic violence charges since January.
