Champion Schools' Detention water basin treated following mosquito found with West Nile virus
CHAMPION TWP., Ohio -
Following the finding of a mosquito carrying the West Nile virus off the bike trail in Champion Township on Wednesday, The Trumbull County of Board of Health announced that they treated Champion Schools detention water basin on Thursday.
The water basin is located on the new Champion P-K property.
The board of health reported that they deposited a tablet in the water basin designed to kill mosquito larvae.
