NORTH JACKSON, Ohio -

The driver of one of the vehicles involved in a chain-reaction crash with two other vehicles and a motorcycle is charged.

Three people were injured after the crash along a busy Bailey Road intersection in North Jackson Tuesday afternoon.

Crews were called out to the intersection of N. Bailey Rd and Gladstone Road shortly after 3 p.m.

Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol said a red truck ran through a stop sign and hit another truck.

They said the red Chevy was driven by 66-year-old David Hovanes of Newton Falls.

An SUV then allegedly hit the Chevy that caused the crash. A motorcycle rider reportedly had to slide off the road to avoid the crash.

The roadway was shut down for a while so that crews could remove the vehicles from the road.

State Troopers tell 21 News that the three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Troopers said Hovanes was charged with failing to yield at a stop sign.
